MT ET Streets with or without tubes?
You guys that are running ET Streets-Are you using tubes or no tubes? I know it's to eliminate tire slippage and deflation and all but I assume it would stiffen the sidewall which you don't want with a wrinkle wall tire. Is it OK to do without tubes if you stay above a certain tire pressure?
It is ok to run those tires without tubes even though MT reccomends going against it.
I've done it before and I know several other's who have also.
It's not as safe though, and the end of the track your assend will be wobbling a little more so than usual.

I've worn out several sets of MT ET Streets and Hoosier QTPs and have never ran a set of tubes. I don't think the tubes will affect your sidewall though like you're thinking. Just if you use tubes, use rim screws with them.
if you go below 10-13 psi you can tend to leak cuz the bead isn't strong enuff.
if you keep 15+ psi...you should be fine.
and i'm assuming your talking ET street bias-ply ? et street radials would dangerous w/ tubes and absolutely not needed. and they hook as god as bias-ply if streetability is an issue for you.

Streetability is not an issue. These are going to be strictly track tires. Mickey Thompson says the ET Street slicks will hook up better on a manual car due to the shock and the drag radials are better for automatics.
