Default Exhausts Systems on Convertibles

Once I get my convertible, I want to upgrade the exhaust system.

My concern is that GTs are kinda loud now because the noise goes right through the vinyl roof. What am I going to hear if I put FLowmasters on? Will I be sorry because it's TOO LOUD and I can't hear myself think or hear my stereo system?

I am interested in hearing what other convertible owners have to say.

I dont think mine is too loud at all, we can talk and hear the stereo, just choose carefully you dont want "the drone".

What the heck. If you don't want it loud then get another car. Lol. J/k. . But like RJM02GTDrag said choose carefully. Here is a site that you can try out all different exhaust sounds from all different companies. Click here. Later.

I like the idea of being heard before being seen! LOL!!!

Aren't those clips for when you are outside the car? I am concerned what you are hearing INSIDE?

If you're concerned about inside noise, DO NOT GET FLOWMASTERS! Ride in someone's car w/ them and ask them to cruise at about 2k rpms.... (Where your auto will cruise around town).... You will hear a god awful drone that never goes away that makes you want to find the nearest curb and bite down...hard.

No drone + Magnaflows or Bassanis I believe....
