holset identification help
The most common one used is off of the Dodge truck that came with the 5.9 cummins diesel. I believe the holset model numbers were HX35W and HY35W. Not sure on the housing or turbine specs though. I have heard that people using them in a single turbo setup on a 5.0 engine can only get around 12 psi max out of them. After that the turbo is pretty much done.
it's an he351 i read the numbers on the wastegate...it's a newer version of the hy35...a little bigger compressor housing than the hy35....i'll get pics up when i can...i've only had the car a week....thanks
