Better off asking in 4 cylinder section, lots of people upgrade their turbos to the holset

The most common one used is off of the Dodge truck that came with the 5.9 cummins diesel. I believe the holset model numbers were HX35W and HY35W. Not sure on the housing or turbine specs though. I have heard that people using them in a single turbo setup on a 5.0 engine can only get around 12 psi max out of them. After that the turbo is pretty much done.

They're probably one of the toughest turbos they put on stock vehicles out there. More than likely it's an hx35. Do you have any pictures?

12 psi sounds way too low for those turbos. They push around 25-30 psi on the Cummins diesels...

They're fine pushing 12, but the stock wastegate spring I believe is set at like 22 psi.
