Default Fuel for Nitrous Question!!!!!!!

Well I got a tune for the 100 shot b/c of my crappy, stock drivetrain. I have a built bottom end, so hurting the engine is not really a concern at this point.

At the dyno, the tuner made a graph during a pull, and it shows my SVT Focus fuel pump is working at 83% on the numbers in my sig.

How much more fuel is needed by jumping up to the 150 shot? For all you guys, thats going from a 28 fuel jet to a 35. Do you think my pump would be ok? I will probably run race gas on 1 degree timing retard.

Default RE: Fuel for Nitrous Question!!!!!!!

My svt pump handles the .035 jet very good. On the dyno my air fuel stayed at a constant 12.1 at 43psi , no spikes or fluctuations (we didnt feel a need to log any duty cycles). I am only running the .057 jet on the n2o side (still debating on using the .062 on the stock rods). I am pulling 6 degrees out of my na tune for 125 shot. You should be fine with a 104/93 mix, I love the smell.

So you think the Focus pump will be ok on 475rwhp? Thats what I like to hear!!!!! I'm probably gonna pull an extra 2 degrees out of my 100shot tune, and run 93/110 mix just incase.

THANKS

You should be fine. If you are worried about it get some jets for a 125 shot and try it first on the Dyno if your car starts to run lean then you should probably getting a better pump. Just try it and see what happends.

You should be fine, but if you're worried...get a boost a pump.
