I have a Really stupid noobie question but Can somone please tell me What is Turbo lag and how do you get it?

turbo lag is when ur turbo isnt making its potential boost like in the low RPM's and the car doesnt jump off the line like it would if the RPM's were up and the turbo/s where spooled. the keyword in all this and for all turbo's is spooling up <IMG src=smileys/smiley14.gif border="0">

Turbo lag is extremely easy to eliminate or reduce greatly.

Get a turbo better sized for your motor and quit running a monster turbo that takes forever to spool up.

there is no real way to eliminate turbo lag. </P>


if you get a bigger turbo, there will be more lag (but more hp)
you can reduce the turbo lag by getting a smaller turbo, but the trade off is that you won't get as much hp boost compare to the bigger one</P>

there is a way nitrous baby ....use it for 3 sec into run then dail it out slowly...
