Default Intake temperature sensor before or after procharger

Im just about done with my setup and about to tune it. I called procharger and they said that the intake temperature sensor goes before the supercharger. Is this right? It dosent seem to make any sense...
Thanks

The sensor goes on the intake tube. You can't see mine because of the angle. You can also mount it on the steel tube.

So before the procharger, right after the air filter? Wont it be reading the temp before it goes through the procharger, so it would be a different temp? Wouldent it be more accurate after the air is cooled by the intercooler?
Thanks

Mount the sensor on the 45 degree rubber elbow connecting your intake tube to the throttle body. I don't know why Procharger say to mount it before the charger. You need to know if the charge is too hot right? Suppose you run over a plastic bag and it gets stuck in front of your intercooler. You wouldn't be able to tell that your air charge was hotter than hell with the sensor before the charger. You can also be creative and mount it in the intake tube, like where the sensor would be on a BBK CAI. My 03 came with the sensor built in my MAF(6 prong). SCT sells a meter w/ the sensor built in it and I think its the 1999 lightningMAF thats the same way too. When I upgraded my MAF to a 90mm(4 prong), it didn't have the sensor in it soI had to buy a sensor and wire it up into my intake tube.
