Paxton got bought out by Vortech and the spokesman for Vortech said they were moving Paxton more twards the truck/suv market. Either way you go your buying from the same company. Id just go with the Vortech, that V1 would sound sick.

Why do you say that? They still make the V1, the only difference between the V1 and V2 is that the V2 gears a helical cut and the V1' are straight cut. Thats why the V1 is louder, which I like BTW. You can buy a V1 brand new from Vortech if you want.

V2 SQ. i really wanted a V1 that screamed, but i know i would have gotten sick of it. the V2 is nice and quiet. it has a nice whistle and you can hear it when you're cruising. it sounds sweet. you can't hear it when you romp on it, but that's fine. i know it's there and that's all that matters.
