Default Need Help With S/C

I have a 98 GT auto with BBK headers, mac x pipe, flowmaster mufflers, and 3.73 gear (not yet installed). I just bought a used paxton S/C. The kit has the head unit (sn93), the mounting bracket, the Fmu, piping, pulleys, and belt. What else will i need to make the car run right i would like to upgrade the MAF and injectors to 40lbs. I think the pully that is on it is set at like 6-7 psi. I would like to run 9-10 psi in the future. Any help would be great this is my first S/C so i am in the dark a little.

I would def. suggest new injectors, as well as a fuel pump. You are getting a ton more air than stock, and the fuel system can't hold up with that... With my vortech the kit came with the fuel pump, you can find them on Ebay fairly cheap.

You'll need the kit w/ brackets to fit your year 4.6, a chip/tuner, an fmu, fuel pump, and injectors. 30#'ers will be more than enough for your needs.

you can either get a maf calibrated for your injectors or fix it with a tune. The car won't run right or at all unless you do so. Matter of fact, try not to drive the car at all with out a dyno tune if you can help it.

I am not in any rush i am going to wait till i get every thing an then take it strait to have it tuned when i am done. If i am running 6-7 psi can i just get an inline fuel pump and wait on the injectors or so i still need them? By the way the car has 48000 miles on it.

not to hijack ur thread, but if you use an intank fuel pump (255lph) is that just as good as an inline...for a sc application?

With the vortech and the other inline pumps are they in addition to the intank or do they replace the intake?
