long tube headers?

I have a 2000 gt with an automatic tranny and was wondering if anyone makes long tube headers for an automatic and why headers made for a stick wont work on one?

macs should clear.

auto tranny is very wide. some headers from companies like BBK are pretty narrow, and will not fit, obviously there is a reason companies don't advertise things that they can't back up.

i have flowtech long tubes on my '03 with an auto. love them.
