Default When To Change From 2 1/4 To 2 1/2 Exhaust

I changed my exhaust on my mustang from 21/4 to 2 1/2 before I did and motor modifications .I'm wondering now if I would be better off with the 2 1/4 at least at the floe tube area since we know the 5.0 need's a lttle back pressure.Anyone have any comment s on this ?Thanks

NO !!!

yes some back pressure, but thats what the mufflers are for. it needs to breathe too.

2 1/2" is the best for you
