Default improving 60 ft's

Besides LCA and relocation brackets, what is the best mod to help improve 60ft times? Are there any companys making good quality shocks besides tokico? Im looking for a drag shock like the old school lakewoods. I was just wondering if there are any shocks out there for drag use only that are more affordable than the d-specs.?

BMR Offers a few different Struts. The Tokico which many people are satisfied with, a much more expensive drag strut, and some other strut. Not sure which one is going to meet your demands.

Anyway, I think stiffening the entire rear will help you. LCA + Relocation brackets, UCA + UCA Mount, Larger Rear Sway bar, and Panhard bar and brace.

I have DR's, BMR LCA's w/ relocation brackets, and 4.10's, and I get consistant mid to low 1.7 60ft times.

I have yet to change my shocks, but I will eventually.

I belive drag radials will make the biggest difference along with a good launch.

1) Get some DRs...
2) Replace your suspension....If I remember right you don't have much in that department....You seem to have spent a good amount of money making power...now put it to the ground...Spend the $2k to do the springs, shocks, LCA, UCA, panhard and all braces that go witht he last 3...then you might want to look at a K-member it will save some weight up front....Put that all together with the awesome drivetrain you have put together and you'll be screamin......

Slicks and skinnies is exactly what i want... I finaly got a price tonight and $1600 just for a set of bogart d-10's is way out of the spectrum for me. I wish i could but thats way to much. I would really appreciate it if i could get a detailed thread aboutmaking a set of 15x9 or 15x10 rear and 15x3.5front Weld draglites work. I really hate my stock 17" wheels. My next mods are all. driveshaft, D-specs,LCA brackets. I would really like to hear from someone who knows, How to get those wheels i mentioned to fit. I have seen all kinds of cars in mag with drag style wheels. A lot of them have been 16" bogarts though. I would really like to know what backspacing i will need and if spacers are ness. I know i will have to do some grinding in the rear and still probably use a spacer. Fill me in about getting the front to work also.
