Handling Balance w/Supercharger

Handling Balance w/Supercharger
I'm looking at purchasing the FMPP Whipple supercharger with intercooler for my 06 GT convertable. I'm concerned about the weight of the supercharger and its effect on the handling balance of the vehicle.
I'm currently running the stock springs and shocks with Steeda fr swaybar braces (stock swaybar), and Steeda fr bushing inserts. In the rear I have a new PB brace, Chrome moly PB, new lower arms and the Steeda comp upper arm with new bracket. This setup provides much improved handling and feel while allowing a decent ride on urban streets.
Can anyone tell me the weight of the Whipple setup? Is there a recommendation of what I might look into for a spring swap to help compensate for the added weight? Does anyone have any experience with this type of setup on a track?

RE: Handling Balance w/Supercharger
I think the S/C itself is 60-80 LBS....dont quote me on that! It will throw off the weight distribution but relocate the battery to the back and that will save some weight dist. Also delete the front sway bar and save about 30 lbs if using the car for drag racing! Hope it helps J
