What you need all depends on what you do with it after it is lowered. If all you want to do is cruiseMain street then what you need is significantly different than if you want to set a track record at your local road course. Or as in my case, leave the record setting to my brother.
DUH..... Of course if your gonna race it seriously then you wouldnt be putting these springs on any way.lol There are much better spring/shock packages for these cars made to make them handle better on the track for real racing.

Real question is, if your stang is a DD, will the struts and shocks die out like most people say, or would I be okay with just the springs?

my car is not a DD, and i dont race it that often at all, it mostly sees street cruising on the weekends, so i think i can get by w/ just the springs, and if i need to upgrade from there i can do it later.

Hi FrostByte,

Actuallywhich spring is best depends on what the rules allow you to use. Steeda Competition springs and D-Specs seem to be capable of winning just fine. Robin Burnett has won many races using these springs and dampers.
