Default Wheel well space?

Can anyone tell me if I will have too much, too little, or just the right space with the Eibach Pro-Kit and a 255/35/20 tire?

You will have just the right space in the front, maybe too little, but you're still going to have some gap in the rear.

Here's my cousin's car, with the eibach pro-kit, 255/35/20 up front and 285/30/20 in the back.

Hi ScottsIre,

IMO 20's look funny on S197's, not enough tireand they don't handle, ride or launch as well as an 18" wheel and tire. I don't know what is more important to you looks, rideor performance but the best performance is going to be found in the 18" size due to weight, rotating mass and the performance tires available in a 27.0"-27.7" tall tire. There are very few high performance 17" tireswith a 27"-27.7" tall size. But there are getting to be quite a few high perfromance tires in 19" sizes with 20's coming in right behind the 19's.

But having said this a 255/35x20 tire is the same diameter as the O.E. 17" and 18" wheels and tires. This means thewheel arch gaps will be the same as any O.E. 17" or 18" wheel and tire setup with these springs. But to describe it I would say that the tops of the front and rearwheel arches partially covers the tops of the tires making the gap on topzerowhich makes the car look"slammed" and ricey. Don't take it the wrong way this is just the best adjective that I can come up with. To get thatperfect even gap all around you need different springs because on the whels and tires you listPro-Kits won'tgive you that perfect stance.

Here is my car onSaleen PJ Editionwheels in 19"x9" in front and 19"x10"on the rear endwraped in275/40x19 Goodyear Eagle F1 A/S tires all around on the overlook on Mulholland Highway. The Goodyear Eagle F1 A/S 275/40x19 tires are tall tires at 27.7" tall. If you go any taller you run the risk of rubbing the inner fender liners. This image was taken before I pulled the 275/40 tires off the front and replaced them with 245/45x19 Goodyear Eagle F1 A/S tires. The car is sitting atthe minimum ride height I can safely go with the Saleen PJ Watt's link installed without damaging the evaporative emissions pressure sensor and tubing even though they have been slightly repositioned to improve clearance. The car at this ride height handles well once setup but for the street is IMO too low and looks too low.Let's see if the image uploads.

HTH!

Opps, wrong picture, this is actually at the weekly Sat. A.M. car gathering at the La Canada/Flintridge theater parking lot.

O.K. here is my car on Mulholland at the overlook.
