lower or not?

Im getting the roush rear springs only for my mustang.
Supposedly it maintains a VERY close to stock ride quality, but it lowers the rear an inch.
This will help you with launches, squirrelly rear end while shifting hard, stuff like that.
May not make a handling difference, but it will be a very subtle and tasteful change to the rear of the vehicle. IMHO, the front is about perfect. The rear just sits a little too high.
Overall, the rear will still sit 1/4 inch higher than the front, so it will be a very balanced look, and from what I have read, it only takes about 30 minutes to do.
Best part is, it doesnt require any more suspension parts to be done properly.

I'm considering the same since I'll be driving the car year round, but as for not replacing any other parts, whenever you are replacing the stock spring w/ a shorter spring and using the stock strut you are going to face premature wear. If you already have the stock rear suspension out why not just replace everything at once so save yourself time and money down the road.

i did the eibach pro kit on mine with 20's. i love the look, it's a daily driver and i've never scraped. i also put tokico aftermarket fully adjustable shocks and struts and it rode better than rider height with the 20s.
