i don't know how valid this is, but after
installing my roush rear springs, i measured
the distance between the center of the
wheel to the fender (using a string and bob).

there was only 1/16" difference between the two
sides.

EEEK! Holy thread hijack Batman....... 93FoxbodyLX, you lowered your front end 2.5?

I recommend you bring that back up a ways and retrieve your handling and ride quality. Must be hell on bumpy roads with such little suspension travel.

ya i slammed the front end, i may end up either getting used factory springs later and cutting them again or maybe aftermarket springs, not sure yet

thanks 2005Mach, it was free to do and extremely easy to do lol...but with ur car having coilovers it will be different, we tried lowereing my buddies 08' Pontiac GT GXP by cutting the springs down but it didnt do much which we thought was kind of odd? we cut like 1 3/4" off the front springs and he has coilovers too and it only dropped the car like 1/2", idk if theres a trick to coilovers that i dont know about or what? it was our first time doing it with coilovers

I recommend you NOT cut springs. Too many unknowns and mess up spring rate (been there, done that 25 years ago) If you want to go a little lower than whatever you install, remove the spring pads for an extra 1/2" in front/rear without messing up spring rate and ride (grease top/bottom of springs prior to install to avoid squeeks). You will still be lower and can bottom out easier though. You also could go with lower profile tires as an idea as well.

Jazzer done jackin' now
