Default 2005 Stearing Noise

Hello. I am new to this site so go easy on me.

I was hoping someone could help me out. I recently bought a 2005 Mustang Convertible. It is the base model. My question is:

When turning the stering wheel, specifically backing out or pulling into a parking space, I hear a 2 loud clicks, similar to a CV joint click, while turning the wheel....It isnt a CLUNKING noise, and it isnt everytime. I just noticed, it is 2 clicks. Also, i have never heard it when driving at a normal rate of speed like around a corner or something....

Anyone able to give me a clue about where to begin my troubleshooting? I have not noticed any performance issues, it is just an annoyance at this point, but i want to try to prevent something major if i need to check it out more.

Thanks for your time....

Steering wheel fluid maybe? My car makes so many clicks and clacks i'm not sure which is coming from where. I still love her though.

Does it happen just as the wheel begins turning or during the turning cycle? Does it happen when turning the wheel while stationary or just while moving? Do you feel anything when it makes the clicking sounds? Does it make any difference which way you are turning?

I had a similar noise while turning the wheel while I was going slow or stationary. I went to the dealership and they found out it was a single bolt in somewhere in the front steering shaft, all they did was loosen it and re-torque it and it went away. Another time I had another clicking noise while turning at speed. I had my wheels re-balanced and aligned and the sound went away.
