Default sticky tires, cant decide.

Hello all
I need new rubber for the rear and I was liking the idea of a second set of rims for the track only, But its a hassel and the tracks far. So id have to change at the track to have a good "track only tire"
So I know aside from the tires not being heat cycled, how wide would you go on the stock 17's? and what would you choose?
BFG KDW or MT et streets?
There both about the same price, both have good grip but what would be better after normal (abusive) wear? I uderstand you cant be a tool when its wet at all. I will keep my stockers up front (they still got 8/32)
I know you shouldnt mismatch tires front to back for optimal driving, but i dont carve corners, just go straight.
whats your opinions, reviews?

The BFG KDW and MT ET Streets are 2 completely different tires.
No way no how are you gonna drive a ET street on a wet road.
Your gonna be better off with a drag radial like the ET street raidal 2
I would try a P295/45R17 #3745R
I run P305/35R18 but you still have to be careful in the rain

I have the KDWs and love them. You have to be very careful with any tire on a Mustang in the rain.

if you want a track only set of tires let me know. i'm selling my stock 17x8's with m/h 275/50/17's and they HOOK. they are pretty much brand new with only 3 passes on them from last friday. pulled two back to back 1.55 60's with them with 523rwtq launching off nitrous at the line. i could sell you just the rears for the track if you are interested. pm me for details. here they are in action friday

Nitto NT555s...I prefer Toyo R888s but am more of a twisty kind of guy but am sure they would hook up on the drag strip as well. What sizes are you needing?
