Default Question regarding just rear springs.

Have any of you guys just lowered the rear of the car and if so what did you run with?

Im just looking to drop the *** end a little bit, i would lower the front but its already low enough with the roush kit and i dont wanna rip anything off going over something as small as a speedbump or something like that. I already have to be careful on some things and i dont wanna risk it.

Thanks guys.

Many guys are using just the rear Roush springs. Considering that I'm telling this to a Roush guy- it seems funny. Anyway, if you do a search- there are plenty of pictures of GT models with just the rear springs.

That is pretty funny, i remember reading about people doing that i just didnt know if there were different opinions about other brands. Ill probably end up running those in the back.

Thanks man.

Roush rear springs are pretty awesome. Really evens out the stance of the car, and I don't think I'll be needing an adjustable panhard bar or upper control arm to fix the rear end shift and pinion angle.

The Roush Rear only will level your car out. Install both front and rear with the Stage II kit it drops about an inch all way around. Install both front and rear with the Stage III kit it drops it about 1.5 - 2 inches all way around. I first did the rear only but the completed it with the Stage II kit all around. Looks great now.

Running just Roush rears and really like the look. I already have issues with my chin scraping on parking lot stops, so have no plans to mess with the fronts. But unlike East87, I did need an adjustable panhard bar as my rear was shifted ~1/2in after installing the springs... and with wider wheels/tires being installed, I wanted to ensure things were centered.

A good thing to note Doogie. +1. Wider wheels/tires will exaggerate the need to re-center the rear, whether for asthetic or functional purposes. I imagine that I have some rear end shift, but it's not noticeable enough for me to feel or see as I run stockers currently...
