Never heard of the camber bolts snapping.

I just prefer to have the full spec'ed clamping force of both bolts holding my front wheel in place.

I bought them for mine and never used them! I was still within spec(just barley though)

They don't snap, but they can slip. Slipping is bad not just because you lose your alignment and your camber and toe are free to change, but because it beats up on the knuckle and in fact can cause that to fail, seen it happen. Ford redesigned their camber bolts (which were full sized to start with) because *THEY* slipped.
