Hawk HP+ and HPS
I just got my HP+'s installed on the front and HPS's on the back. I am assuming these things are supposed to be this loud. High pitched squeeling when stopping on the street right (only the HP+'s, not the HPS it seems)?
So basically, I need to get a set of HPS's for the front to be able to swap out the fronts for track days but keep the back since it's a bit more trouble to change the back brakes what with that stupid screw-in caliper and all, right?

My HP Plus pads also squealed on the street. Trying Carbotech this year.

That would make sense, the pad would bite harder into a hot rotor/pad than it would a could rotor/pad which would account for the squeeling, I did bed them in as properly as I could on the street. The directions called for bringing it up to medium speed, which I ran 45 Mph for, then track speeds, I had to hop on the interstate and push at least 3 digits so I did that right before the exit, hopped off and pulled into the gas station to let it sit. I noticed no squeeling on the way back after a warm up and some test braking once everything got hot with decent braking, only with hard braking did I notice squeels, then when it's cold it squeels no matter what pretty much.
