18's with 285 rubber

the GT500 comes stock with 285's and they fit perfectly. just get the proper offset as mentioned.

20's have so little sidewall. they look good, but the potential to kill your rims on a bad bump/pothole is too risky for me

great looking wheel, and as others have mentioned, I'd run a 255 up front & 285 out back

Didn't notice the 18x9.5'' 40 offset on their website...those are going to look great! I wonder how much they weigh? Can't be too bad, especially for a wheel worthy of the name 'nurburgring'.

And I wouldn't run a 285 up front personally. I run 275/40-18's up front and they tramline pretty good. I would imagine a 285 would be even worse.

I'd be inclined to run at least a 255 up front on those 9.5''s but 245 will be fine. Those are pretty heavy. Even my steeda 'not-so-ultralites' are 26lbs each. but like you said, its a street car so get what you want/what looks good to you.

I wanted the biggest wheels and tires that would fit. And Steeda delievered.

Stock wheels and tires 255/45-18, tire and wheel 56lbs
Steeda front 9.5" wide 275/35-20, tire and wheel 61lbs, +5lbs more than stock
Steeda rear 11" wide 315/35-20, tire and wheel 69.5lbs, +13.5lbs more than stock
