Default Can anyone tell me what the offset is on the rims in this picture?

This is my first post so let me apologize in advance if this topic has been discussed to death. I recently purchased a 2005 GT and would like to make it look like the one in this picture. I believe the rims are 20x9 Shelby Razors in gun metal but I’m not sure of the offset. I’m also thinking about buying a BMR Fabrication lowering package LSP001. Has anyone had any experience with this set up?

WELCOME! Hah! I'm the first to say it.

1. Don't know for sure, but I'm guessing somewhere in the neighborhood of +35mm offset. I run 18x9" wheels on the street with +30mm offset and 18x9.5" on track with +35mm offset. Here's what they look like.

Street Set Up

Track Set Up

You'll note that they sit about the same as one another - if you do the math you'll not wonder why.

2. Do a search for "Sam Strano."
3. Stop thinking of the BMR stuff.
4. Call Sam.
5. Buy from Sam.

You'll be in good hands.
Best,
-j

Thanks for the info Philostang. I've read conflicting posts that the Shelby Razors should be 24mm offset and 40mm offset. I then put them in a cart on cruizin concepts' website and it said 36mm. I'm so confused.

fwiw, there are some reprots that 30 offset 20's stick out past the fenders, that said the dude who had that issue was driving a 10 i think, and the fenders roll crazzy at the end. Most stand wheels are 40 or 45 on the rear that i ahve seen in 18" anyway. Im not sure if the 20" wheels woudl need a different offset. Check american muscle, whatever they have listed for your year in offsets is correct. caveat, differetn wheels will vary. i have 41 offset american racing shelby redlines and they fit flush on the 10. AMR makes the razors too.

Well, since American Racing only make those wheels in 20x9s they appear to be Razor 20x9 gunmetal in 40mm offset. The 24mm is the one GT500 guys run, but they stick out past the fenders about 1/4-1/2 of an inch. This is why there are many who don't like it. Unfortunately American Racing have sold out of the gunmetal finish so us vendors are unable to get any. Feel free to PM myself or Mike for more info.

So we are SURE these are the 40mm? I'm SO CLOSE to ordering these and want that EXACT stance, but I'm convinced the ones pictured there are 24mm. Can ANYONE confirm what the originally posted picture is?
