It's not easier or faster, and it's significantly more risky.

Lol course it's easier and faster. You don't have to take nearly as much stuff loose. And i don't see how it could be risky. Everything went fairly smooth doing it for the first time figuring things out. I'm sure start to finish I could do both front springs in about 45 min with another person's help. AND I didn't have to drive to the store twice, and put down a deposit on the spring compressor.
