Default N-Springs on a Convertible

Is there any reason that N springs cannot be used on a convertible? The only real reason I can see is the little bit of extra weight that the car would have in the rear. Alot of other lowering springs are the same number and work with coupe/convertible. I am trying to get my cousin to lower his 06 Convertible, but he doesn't want to drop it too low.

Who says that can't be? I assume you're talking about the Ford Racing springs for a V6 right?

Correct, it's listed on American muscle and a couple other sites that they're coupe only.

Hmmm, weird.. Latemodel has them listed as coupe and convertible.. Honestly though I don't know much about V6 parts or Ford brand springs..

It will work with a coupe or vert. They springs will settle a little different due to the weight of a vert. So if the springs are a 1" drop, you might see a 1.4" drop due to the added weight.

Makes sense, thats what I was figuring is that they're the same spring with just more weight in the rear.
