New Mustang...Rear axle upgrade and airbag suspension
#11
Hey buddy I have the airlift on my car and I can tell that it rides very nice and you have the flexibility of different ride heights, my wife like to drive my mustang so this works out perfect I have one setting that when I start the car it goes up to stock height, since its a pre-program that you set she will never have to worry about messing with the Airlift. I also have changed most of the suspension front and rear and that's because I plan on taking my car to the track. in case someone says you cant run air bags at the track, take a look at Air Lift's website they track their Mustang all the time also one of my good friends here on the West Coast he also tracks his car with air bags. If you have any questions feel free to contact me. here are a couple pictures of my suspension.

Unless I am mistaken, the `13+ comes with factory posi. The sticker for mine listed it.
What would the difference be with the `13+ BOSS rear? A faster locking posi?
Unless the BOSS rear comes with stronger axles, hardened splines or so forth, I can't see a reason to 'upgrade' to it, as all the V6 is lacking is a lower gear (and maybe the bigger brakes.)
For the guys with the 7.5" rear, sure it might be a no brainer, but as we have covered, the `11+ comes with the 8.8" rear.
If I am wrong, someone correct me, but like I said, my sticker listed the posi.

I run my Mustang at the track a fair amount with the air suspension you are looking at and I love it. The only other suspension mod I have is a rear Hellwig sway bar, everything else is stock.
My 57 year old mother has the same system on her 2005 Mustang and she really likes the ride and the adjustability of air.
