Default Koni STR.T install question

So I finished the install of the STR.T struts, shocks, and Steeda Ultralite springs with the GT500 strut mounts. I did it fairly simply in my garage with jack stands. I just assembled the strut and spring with the strut mounts but decided not to compress the stock spring and remove the dust boot, bump stops, or the black rubber sleeve that wraps around the spring where it touches the strut on the bottom of the strut. I noticed the Ultralites came with a plastic clear insulator so I knew the bottom rubber piece shouldnt need to be trasnferred but wasnt sure about the bumpstops and dust boot. My question is, do I need the front bump stops from the stock or should I order and install new ones? The car seems to ride nicely with no issues. Also, do I need to trim the rear bump stop?

Yes, the dustboot and bumpstop should have been transferred to the Koni's. And no you don't have to trim the rear stop. You can if you want, but frakly when I tried it I ended up with new stock stops back on because it was actually a touch less harsh (with much stiffer springs than you have however).

Thanks Sam, I tore it all down and put the bumpstops and dust boot on... Feel a lot better now
