Default Wheel fitment question on a 05 GT

Will a Cobra R wheel from a 99-04 Mustang fit on a 05 GT? American Muscle part number 28015 is the wheel I want to put on the rear. It is a 17 X 10.5 wide. I want to put the staggered 17 X 9 on the front.
Will they fit?

Yes and no...the offset is different for the New Edge vs the S197. So, it'll physically "fit", but it won't look right. I think they end up sticking way out due to the different offset.

^This is correct. The bolt pattern is the same, so it will fit on the hub. However, the offset is different between the two generations so it may not look right. You could probably figure out the offset difference and throw a set of spacers in there and be okay!

This is just my .02. Let me know if you have any further questions!

I run 17x9 +25 XXR wheels on all 4 corners. There's lots of clearance inside and the wheels are almost completely flush with the fenders.

The fronts you posted up are 17x9 +24 so they'll fit perfect, but i'm not sure about the rears. Using the offset calculator on 1010tires.com it says it will stick out an additional 1.9", and the inside clearance will be reduced by less than 5/8" compared to factory. Wheel spacers will make the rears stick out even further.

Basically, if you have the factory 17" or 18" wheels on there right now measure 2" from the center cap of the wheel and 5/8" from the lip of the wheel inward and see where that puts you for the 10.5" wheel

Thanks all. I'll look into this deeper.
