Default 2010 Stang Steering Problem

I have a 2010 Mustang V6 Pony with 12K miles. When I turn the steering wheel in either direction on tight turns, the steering wheel locks into the turn and won't center itself. I have to manually correct it. Is this an aligment problem or a steering rack failure? Thanks

Hello citrusz,

Welcome to the forum! My name is Deysha with Ford Service. To be on the safe side, you should bring it in to your local Ford Dealer and have them check it out. The Service Manager is in the best position to let you know if there is work needed, and about coverage you may have for it (warranty, recall, etc.). Let me know the outcome.
