Gt500s How low will they go?

albeit I agree that money talks and BS walks....if a dealer told me today that I can have a gt500 BRAND NEW for 39-40k which is 6-7k BELOW MSRP (depending on options) I would be all over it...so with that being said...where are you located, can you pm me the name and contact number of the dealer...I would take the trip and go and buy it at 39-40k tomorrow...let me know...

Not denying the poster who claimed that he saw one for 39k brand new....however, every brand new GT500 that someone has claimed to be below 42k has been nothing more than another urban myth. either when asked they forget the dealer and name..or claim its arleady sold.or when I have called the dealer they absolutely deny that they would ever sell it that cheap...the only gt500's I have seen drop well below msrp have been the verts..usually dropping into the high 40's or about 3k-5k under msrp..the coupes I have seen 3k below at best at about 43k...but 39-40K....thats been like bigfoot..several have claimed to see it yet no one has shown concrete evidence yet. ...

Paducah Ford, Paducah, KY has 3 in stock: silver/blue KR 40th, black/red GT 500, both in the showroom--so I couldn't see the price and a white/blue out on the porch with $62K and some change on the sticker....the white/blue was an 08, I'm assuming the black/red was also. All coupes. Also, Pennyrile Ford, Hopkinsville, KY has, or had a couple of weeks ago a white/blue 08 coupe.....
