Default Shelby GT 500 blower oil

I was wondering what is being run in the Eaton Blower. I do know the Ford spec, but I am sure there is a better product.

Thanks

Blower oil is one thing you shouldn't mess with. Eaton tests these blower to 15,000 rpm or whatever so you know they use the best oil. I have never heard of a blower failing due to the oil.

I do work with industrial blowers and we run exclusively Lubrication Engineers industrial products...I was hoping to find a cross reference...I will certainly stick with the factory product unless I find a definative match.

I have never checked, is this something we are suppose to change? I have an 07 with 200 miles on it, so I think I am good.. But, this is the first I have seen of this..

Thanks,
Scott

After getting ahold of an Eaton Tech..we should never have to worry about changing the oil in the blower...only under extreme loads would it be needed and only after 50k miles ...
so one less thing to worry about...

The only mention of supercharger oil maintenance I have found is in the Mustang shop manual where it says the following:
The supercharger has a self-contained oiling system that does not require a fluid change for the life of the vehicle. However, at every 30,000 mile interval, the supercharger fluid level should be checked.

The vehicle should be parked on a level surface, the engine cool and not running. To check the oil, remove the Allen head plug located at the front of the supercharger. The oil level should be at the bottom of the fill plug threads when cold. If the fluid level is low, add Synthetic Supercharger Fluid Motorcraft XL-4 or equivalent meeting Ford specification ESE-M99C115-A.

SC oil is available at K-man.
