Default Shelby GT SR

I was watching the Barret-Jackson auction earlier today and saw they getting rid of a 2006 prototype Shelby GT SR. I never heard of that so I googled it and found it to be an interesting package. I found an article on the Mustang Monthly website (Sept 2009) for the 2009 version. They mentioned that it was roughly a $31,000 upgrade from a GT, and $11,000 upgrade from a Shelby GT.

Has anyone actually done this mod at Shelby?

that SR is a package that Shelby was promoting heavily when it became available several months ago.
It's a little over priced and many people have obtained similar performance with aftermarket parts and their own labor.
I don't think it will be nearly the "investment" that the 2011 Shelby GT 350 will be! Can't remember the selling price but someone's going to get the whole package on GT350 #350.
