Yes, Roush made shaker package GT cars that used a similar set up to the Mach 1. It's not "less than a Stage 1"... it's just not considered a Stage car. Some of them were Stage 1 cars wtih the shaker add on, some where wheel, suspension and shaker, some were just shakers and a serial number. If it has the passanger door jam Roush number, it's a "Real" Roush by all means. Be proud of having a super rare car.

Can anybody tell me all of the particulars on finding out FOR SURE that a 2004 Mustang GT, Roush, Shaker is actually one of the only 22 made? I've seen some posts to give me some ideas, but I'm not sure if we've found an actual rare gem and need to know FOR SURE.

Where do you check VIN numbers? My guy and I are both new to the SHAKER scene! We just bought a 1999 Mustang - 35th Anniversary- Convertible and will soon be in the process of "beefing it up", but found a 2004 we are really interested in verifying.

You can call Roush and give them the VIN number and they can tell you everything about it if it was actually done by them. I just did that for a 2012 Stage 2 I bought. Just to make sure it was authentic and told me everything they did to it.
