thanks guys that is the point that i dimebag and nitrousd85 have been trying to get across now that are other guys here that ACTUALLY know what they are talking about when it comes to maf makes it nice , thanks you for the maf lesson 67mustang302,and nice to see that adder mks had done the conversion to sd, so what set up do you have a fast or ? this just goes to show that just because the auto makers switch to another set up does not make it superior.i mean come on if they all started putting a bobble head on the dash of every new car built would that mean eevery car out there should do it because it is the superior way of things ?

I run carburetion, but if I were to do an EFI conversion, it'd be an SD setup. FAST makes a complete conversion kit with manifold, harness, everything, with the XFI ECM, but it's like $4,700. I'll prolly just stay carb'd since I don't have to smog and it's cheaper than converting to EFI, and I know carbs better.

oh i agree with carburation being a better source of building hp . i am plnning on building a strocker 427 someday lol and i planned on going carb , i have nothing againist carb , if you know what you are working with you can make great power .

hey addermk2 where can you find info on megasquirt? i tried to pull up info on those systems and all i could get was the wireing diagrams . and how much better in your opion is the megasquirt compared to the fast .

thanks 86 5.0l i just want to research the two of them and see witch is the better of the 2. and i think shawnk007 gave up once addermk2 stepped in and 67mustang302 broke down the reasons for the switch.hey by the way that is a sharp four eye man .
