i just wanted to add something about something, someone said that the sd system is for old school cars or is an out of date technology. my DD is an 2004 grand cherokee, its got the 4.7 HO motor and its an SD. its a great system though its also a quick and power jeep.

just one thing i needed to know. when you add stuff like bigger itnakes and throttle bodies ect. does the SD richen or lean the air to fuel mixture?

 

it corrects it.... thats not a huge differance... the o2s compensate

 

hmmmm.. I doubt that..cause once I told you what I have invested in it......then I think you may become disinterested in purchasing it rather quick

 

oh i am sure , it doesn't take long to get a ton of money into them , i have around 7k in mine so far and all i have done so far is a nice paint job and some bolt ons , i am just now gettinginto the engine and trans .

 

im already up to 15k. I still need to buy a tranny, build my rear.. AND get it painted

 

it don't take long to get a fortune in them , i found a tko 5 spd not to far from me for 300 with all the sycro's fried in it , i am going to get it tomarrow and have it redone .i am work the intake ports and cylinder head ports my self to save a little cash , and scroungeing around for some more stuff that is gently used ()to cushion the blow on the old wallette a bit .

 

yea im looking to sell some **** (guitars, nitrous, stock parts, rear, trans) for my next plan lol
