87 T TOP GT302

I'm going to replace my headers on my 87 gt when Ido the h/c work.Right now ive got mac e/l shorties, which need replacing because of rust nickel plated.Which would be best as far as power and torque or is there much difference at all.

theres not gunna be much of a difference you would get better responce to this if you posted in the 5.0 tech not the little branch

actully longtubes will make a big difference in midrange torque. pretty much all headers are gonna eventually rust so might be a option to just stick w/what u got

Longtubes give you more bottom end power , i wouldnt go with shorties i swapped mine out

Unless there are holes on yours...keep them.
If you have to buy new ones get longtubes if budget allows.
But...remember that with longtibes you will need a different h or x pipe.
