Bucking at all RPM's ...
Hey guys... was wondering if yal could help me out... Got a 1993, 5.0 v8 foxbody with speed density... I woke up one day and my car started up fine... when i went to drive it, it started bucking @ all speeds and rpms... i tried wide open throttle.. still bucked.. iv changed wires, plugs, tps, rotor n cap, ignition coil, coolant temp sensor, fuel pressure, and the ignition module on distributor .... Im runnin out of ideas... For some reason Im thinkin now to change the distributor itslef.... I dont have any vacuum leaks as I've isolated and checked with a hose all around the car for any sounds...

welcome to the forums man, I don't know why nobody checks the speed density section anymore, the first thing you should do is stop the old fashioned "buy parts until it stops" approache and pull codes on the car, you changed the tps did you check the voltage, you said you check the fuel pressure what psi are you running? fuel filter clogged?

Thanx bro... I figured out the problem though after spending so much money... lmao.. I waited about 3 weeks for someone to reply to this ... but, I got it working thank god... It was the distributor... it was all rusted up inside and old... I ordered an OEM replacement from MSD and now its running smooth as a baby.. idle is a little ify but... running good... I changed one of my o2 sensors as well today and the idle got way better... doesnt drop as much as it used to, or surge.. i have another o2 sensor comn out of the other pipe collector i just cant find where it connects to... i think i might have cut one of the sensors off by mistake when i first got the car since i was so oblivious to the automotive world. .. fak... but yea.. its runnin stable as of now... thanx man..
