Tokico shock/struts
I got an 03 GT lowered with Steeda Sport springs. I know my shocks/struts must be bad becuase lately the ride quality sucks. Anyways, since my car is lowered, i've read somewhere that I should run the 94-04 shocks and the 87-93 struts up front because of the shorter design. Is that true? I just wanna make sure I do this right. Oh, dont know if it matters, but I removed my isolaters and dont have c/c plates.
If a 94-04 Mustang is lowered 1.5 inches or more... we usually do recommend the 87-93 Tokico Struts (Part # HB3026). They are a bit shorter and allow for more struttravel on lowered Mustangs. It keeps the struts from bottoming out.
With Steeda springs it is not necessary... but you can do it to be safe.
This recommendation only applies to Twin-Tube struts, such as Tokico, Koni or KYB. This does not apply to Bilstein.
Sincerely,

Thanks for the info. The reason I was going with Tokico was because I heard they are more comfy than Bilstein's. Is thattrue about Tokico's being more comfythan Bilsteins? I just heard Bilsteins were too harsh of a ride.
