I apoligize wasnt trying to be ignorant at all I just said that in a 1/4 mile drag race even if the srt-4 is a 14.0 second car the 4.6 gt comes in at 14.0 @98 mph.I know this because I own a 01 GT that "was" completly stock came in at those numbers at the drag strip.What I did say is that I am hearing from the 4 banger group peole say that the rice burners like the cobalt SS and the srt-4 will walk all over a GT like it's nothing.all in all im not knocking the cobalt nor the srt-4.

a modded srt-4 will walk a GT tho. those things can be made fast for really cheap. if it werent based offa neon, id really consider getting one. i havent heard of cobalts "walking" GT's tho, however, i have heard of modded ones barely beating them to like one or two carlengths...

Also, the GT will own a Cobalt from a Dig but Cobalt wins from a roll, stock for stock. But wtf, who cares? A Cobalt is cheap to Mod. For $1500 i'll have a Slobalt in the high 12's. And thats a 2.8" Pulley, 42.5 pound/hour Fuel Injectors, LSJ Injector Wiring Harness, MAF Translator, Intake, Stage 2 Clutch, Drag Radials and Cat removed. I cant hit 270 whp with this setup. Pretty good for the small amount spent.

You know nothing. The SRT-4 puts down over 200whp to the ground stock. They run high 13s to low 14s stock. The Cobalt is much slower running mid 14s to low 15s. 99-04 GT and a SRT-4 is a drivers race from a stop and the SRT will win from a roll. This of course being stock for stock. The SRT-4 redlines at 6000 RPM not 6500. Don't make ignorant posts like this. Learn a little bit about the cars first and then start maybe you won't make stupid posts like this one.

A modded dodge omni can beat a stock GT if you have enough cash in it.

is it really an omni if its putting out 300+hp lol? and by the way cobalts are garbage its a glorified cavalier with a supercharger WOW!!!!!!!allright now ill get off this subject
