Cobra's are really tricky to drive. You have to engage the clutch all the way when you shift them....and believe me that sucks...not to mention....there the stiffiest clutch out there. Hard as hell on your leg to drive one cross country.
I drove a 2002 Cobra( ugly shaker hood and all)...seemed alot easier to drive(shift) then the GT I own. I thought the Cobras were even better as far as shifting ease?...it felt that way to me(shorter shift). Just this mans oppinion.

Hahah!!

Now I can add a Viper to the list of exotics I've raced..

I pulled up to a light and I'm just sitting there waiting when I see a yellow fender come past my passenger side door and I take a look and it's a yellow Viper rag top!! Pretty sweet...

The light turned and he flirted with the gas and so did I...then I floored it and jumped maybe half a car length on him when he came HAULING *** by me and put about 10 lengths on me by 60 lol.

It was fun nonetheless!!! Now that's a Viper, 2 older Ferrari's, Delorean, late 80's Lambo and some other black car that I can't remember the name of right now. [:@]
Damm, you raced a delorean? Where the hell did you find one of those? THAT is a rare car hehe.

BTW who won (vs the delorean?). The only thing I know bout them comes from Back To The Future

Hee hee... Nice run!

I raced a Viper once. Same as you sitting at a light but this was on a country highway & I owned him all the way up to 100 mph... I don't like taking my BMW K100RS bike over 100 cause it freaks me out

Hell.... that's the only thing I'd ever race against a Viper. BTW it only takes 3 gears to get up to 100 on this bike.. it does 80 in 2nd with 4 gears left.

I have had one go at the track, on the street they either think I might run into them or they are very afraid. Either way, they wont stay next to me, they will turn off like a Honda who just got his azz spanked. Maybe they are just busy and on the way somewhere, I dunno. Still you only need 11's to beat a Viper, unless it has had some stuff done to it. A few of my friends with LS1's have beaten them, so maybe if you drive a GT you wont want any, but a modded Cobra should do pretty well. BTW you can wax most bikes on the street if you can get a 1.9 60 ft on clean dry pavement..... Most riders can get it to run that hard....lol.

I've seen a Supercharged Comp TA with a bored out Stroker LT-1 waste a GTS with NOS. It was a joke. I wonder whose pockets were more nervous after that race.
