well on my way home a few minutes ago. a little 3rd gen rx7 pulls up beside me. He kept looking over giving me the motion that he wanted to race. So i was like whatever stupid ricer is what i figured. Little did i know what i got myself into, i quickly realized when i heard nothing but pure muscle come out of that car. After he walked all over me we pulled over and talked. Come to find out its a rx7 with an LS1 engine making around 400hp he says. None the less he killed me so bad.

unless youre built ( i dont know whats done to your car), a third gen rx-7 would have given you a good run, if not beaten you, even without the LS1.

Oh yea, Ive seen then run mid 13's stock.but the way he kept staring and pointing is what made me think stupid ricer, cause he was acting gay.

haha man... looks can be deceiving. Nice story. Sorry for your loss though.

wow. congrats on the death

dont feel so bad. i know a guy down at Va Beach with a Miata with an LS1 in it......he said when tuned, and done, it was gonna be @ 360whp. talk about a fun ride

Japans big three (especially in the 90's) Mazda RX7, Nissan 300ZX twin turbo, and the Toyota Turbo Supra all were very QUICK with a MSRP of about 50K depending on options .
And that was over ten years ago!!!
