I wouldn't be surprised if his traction system was hurting is performance. Yeah you get off the line but it kills the performance because it actually slowing the car to get it to hook. Race with it off. He should waste you.

I have raced 2 M3's at the track, one all done up roll cage and everything. I screwed up and left the traction on posted a 15.303[:@] the M3 15.313, I got him with the light too. The other one I raced posted a 14.4, not sure what it had, I posted a 14.2, better but not where I should be.

He had a roll cage in a 15 second car???

I remeber racing a 98 or so M3 on the highway. Got a jump on me and I barely stoped him at my rear bumper, that was like 120 MPH (from 70 roll).

Something doesnt seem right here. Has he had it checked out at a mechanic? Im not trying to be rude, but it doesnt seem like a stock 95 would beat this car. Maybe im wrong.

The M3 driver probably can't drive for beans and I bet Connor can get everything his car is worth out of it in a race.

i made the 17 grand comment (exagerrated) because my mom was thinking of supercharging her M3 and it was going to cost around 11 grand. (2003 E46 M3 Manual)

How much crack is smoked on this forum? Holy crap. Firstly, you guys are all over the map in terms of stats for the M3(most being completely incorrect). It is by no means a straight-line performer, that is secondary in nature, actually, it's at the end of the list of performance). These are track cars, with proven track performance, PERIOD! It just so happens that they're in the field of low 14 second cars at the track, so you compare them with your low 14 second car. They are both quick, low 14 second performers, it's that simple, unfortunately, that's where all comparisons end. To say that you BLEW away an M3 with a stock GT is ludicrous, or it wasn't a true all-out race. They are both fast cars, as is any 14 second automobile. The ultimate difference is that the M3 can do EVERYTHING very well, not so with the GT, NOT REMOTELY! I've driven both cars, and truthfully, they are both very quick, and would be hard to tell which is faster because of the inifinite factors involved(driver, temperature, weight etc...) Ultimately, it's CRYSTAL CLEAR which is a better car, the choice isn't as clear when you're talking about which is faster stock to stock straight-line. It's just funny how some of you characters throw out these words/stats/comments, and you have absolutely NO CLUE WHAT YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT! Go to a non-quarter mile track, and learn to drive before you start posting absurd and often incoherent comments giving the other mature stang drivers a bad rep. Christ.
