If they hadn't made a rwd 2 door coupe in 1964, there would be no such thing as a rwd, v8, 2 door car made, ever? riiiiiiiiiiiiight.

if you wanna go by that logic, blame your car for the mustang II.

I'd like one of the classics guy to also explain to me how the classic GTO's are responsible for the current ones as well. it's the same retarded logic.

ok guys.... so if they never invented the mustangs back in the early 60's you would still be driving in a newer model mustang??? NOW THAT MAKES TOTAL SENSE.

maybe it wouldn't be called a mustang, but it would be some sort of rwd, 2 door V8 car. you talk like they couldn't make any new model stangs without taking an old one using it in some form to make the new one. how many parts do you think a late-model stang shares with the old one? the only thing it shares is the name. I could care less about the name, that's the only heritage a late-model stang has with the old one.

do you know what cause and effect is? the classic mustangs did not cause the new model stangs to exist. rwd, 2 door, v8 cars are not some sort of amazing, mystical invention that Lee Iococa came up with. if you go by this logic, you must believe that an 05 GTO would not exist if it weren't for the old GTO, which anyone can see is retarded logic, since the cars have nothing to do with each other.

edit: if they called the late-model mustang "the flying horse ****", it would have no connection with the classics, and you would lose your argument, but since you can't see past the label ford stuck on the car, you'll never understand what I'm saying. there is a market for a 2-door, rwd, v8 car, in today's world, no matter whether the classics existed or not.
