Doesn't the 04 CTS-V have a ls6 and the 05 have a ls2? I remember reading the first year has a ls6...

dude hes saying for an SUV it hauls ***, in which it does..... it might weigh 5500 lbs. but it still runs 0-60 in the upper sixes which is DAMN good for a full size SUV.... and if that too heavy, then how does a 4900lb chevy trailblazer SS run mid 14's with 400 hp?

The CTS-V did indeed have the LS6, a heads and cam LS1. I'm not sure what the new ones have. And they were/are 6-speeds. An LS6 CTS-V is about equal to a 6-speed LS1 F-body.

The new Escalades rin the 1/4 in 14.9- pretty fast for an SUV.

For a full size SUV, that is fast.

That wouldn't happen in the new ///M5. The CTS-V would be destroyed!

I guess you would not have a problem beating me also in your new M5. Read my message -- third from the top and see why I say this.
