they are quicker and handle better if you get rid of the run-flat tires.

especially when the other guys race Vette's, Vipers, Porsches.....but Caddy is paying Pratt and Miller to run their program, the same guys that run the ALMS Vette program.

awww dont cry, tommy.

not many other $1800 cars can contend with the 5.0 in my sig

ironicaly the only cars that can - and fit in that price range... are other mustangs!

obviously a 2002 camaro that retailed for over 20 grand is going to be faster.

once again comparing apples to oranges
Aren't you the same guy that was saying that the 700R4 was better than the 4L60e? And that you have to be rich if you own an LS1 and are under 20 years old? And thought the GT was the same car as a Cobra? And said that the '05/'06 GT's were dogs compared to yours? And you're talking **** to someone else about giving advice?

I've seen a few high mileage '95+ Maxima's that cost $1800 or so. And that would run/outrun your stock 5.0. Hell, it's hard to even find a stock 5.0 that's running and isn't missing body panels for $1800.

It wouldn't be the first time a manufacturer went to an outside souce. Ford has gone to Cosworth and also used a Yamaha engine in the Taurus SHO; Mercedes didn't always own AMG, they were an outside tuner for quite some time and Mercedes worked with Porsche on the 1992-1994 500E/E500. I give Cadilac a lot of credit for offering the V Series cars. I would never have envisioned something like this 10 years ago.

Sometimes out sourcing is the best way to get things done..Look at Cadillac bold decision to have their engines developed and built by the Northstar racing company. The engine is 4.6L and its been making 300hp since 1992.
