That 95 mph trap is very rare also.
Actually it's not, my 89 trapped 95mph stock on a night that it was sprinkling before a big *** storm came through and made the day short. I ran a 15.4 @ 95mph with my check engine light on [o2 sensor came unthreaded and was hanging out].
I meant with an ATX (auto). My highest trap in my somewhat modded MTX (5-speed) was like 94.83 or something. For people unexperienced with SHOs, the autos are considerably slower that the manuals and it would take a lot of mods to trap 95mpt in an auto.

Am I getting this right? Are we really arguing over the performance of a spruced up Taurus?

remember kids, torque wins races not horsepower.
If thats the case, Then why use a gasoline engine? Diesels make far more torque

Isnt that a pretty high trap speed for runnin a 15.4?
Well, after looking, it was only a 15.6 @ 95mph with about a 2.7 for the 60 footer. And I guess it is pretty high and good for the conditions I was in.
