SVO was a cool little car
made em from 84-86
the 85 1/2's were makin more power than the GT's.
So figure less weight+more power=Faster car?

Always wanted an SVO for a winter beater tho, it wasnt made for too long so its gonna be a collector car most likely.
so that actually might be a bad idea

 

They werent all that quick, I have seen a few. Most people opted for the V8 if they got a "performance" Stang. Although if you remove the engine, add a Ranger head, some 4.10 gears and a 50 shot of NItrous, drop it in an old gutted Pinto, you can get tens from it really easy. (Saw that one in HOTROD a few years back)

Yea i know but its the fact you wasnt driving the mean machine that makes it funny. Cause those 2 wouldnt even gotten stupid like that, but then again!! I guess im getting angry with ricers and anything else that revs in front of my house 24 /7 .. i have 2 mustangs here My LX and the GT vert.. They drive all hours of the day and slow down and rev in front of my house , used to drive me crazy..My yard usally has all kinds of rides out front .
