but i have issues wiht my mustang windows leak by my little tweater speakers in the car wash,

*guilty as well*
sounds to me like you beat up on a 93-97 man,,
worthy kill nonetheless...definately no slouches
good job

teh LS1 flathead catfish

the LT1 doorstop (ground effects are factory option in some years)
the main differences are the hood scoops on the lt1, head light shape and humps over headlights in ls1, and circular outter fog lights in ls1 vs rectangular inner fog lights in lt1.
you would probably do well agains a stock lt1 if you know how to drive or if hes auto. an ls1 could be a gear up and pull on you (i know, i raced a kid with an auto and he couldnt launch it but i still only put 4ish lengths on him spraying a 100 shot)
and actually.... these cars might be v6's, but the body style stays the same, so its just as useful for recognition purposes.
hope i helped

if he had an auto ls1, and u had a manual then i think u could beat him, i drove my friends mom's 2000 z28 and it had an auto and i wasnt too impressed my car deffinitly feels quicker

At what, half throttle!? An A4 2000 ' Z28 wont dyno less than 285rwhp on a crappy day with a car put togather on Friday afternoon.

But we all know the "***-Dyno" is pretty unreliable.
My LS1 felt slower than my LT1...actually, it felt really slow, and it was. Hence the modifications.
Still lots and LOTS of misinformation out there about these cars. Street/strip guys sure know about them now, but it appears other sections don't. Kinda weird.

Damn those are some fugly cars (no offense to people that own them). Mustangs may be slower, but they look a hell of a lot nicer.

Not ALL mustangs are slower! [&:]
