thanks.

the 6spd comes with what gear ration?
That's the only in depth question now. I have gotten quite a few of my others answered. I'll start making a list about this engine and PM you later, maybe sometime next week once I get it all wrote down.

EDIT:
That is true 98, but I really like the 6spd and going through the gears myself.

Offense taken. Shut up if you don't have anything constructive to add.

no offense,

but there is much more expertise IN OTHER FORUMS!!!!
Tell me about it. I post on LS1Tech.com and yet to receive an answer. I post on DigitalCorvettes and get told to F/I that is the only way to get 55 more Hp out of the LS1. I post here and within minutes get a detailed response on what I should do, so yeah the other forums worked. If your taking Off-Topic, been there and was informed to try S/S b/c that is where the LS1 boys hang out. So that's how I ended up here. I tried LS1 forums first and relied on my crew here at MF. Who would know the LS1 better than the Arch-Rival.

That's not what I meant....I forgot I had changed my sig. [8D]

Bolt-ons/cam swap netted me 393rwhp on a nitrous tune. Could have made an easy 410'ish rwhp on a motor tune. All this was in a proshifted Liberty t-56, so I know all about going through the gears. I'm only going to a TH400 because I want a reliably fast car.

I will be going with N2O because of the bang for the buck factor. I am a broke-*** and my Camaro is my daily driver. I just need to quit procrastinating and get a window switch and an NOS nozzle (I don't really like the NX nozzle I have) and git 'er done. Improving performance and staying N/A is more expensive and usually hurts drivability and gas mileage (108k miles on an '02; I drive a lot).

That's cool. The TH400 is a sweet Tranny. I have the stock one in my 75 vette. I like to use Manuals b/c I like to keep Human err involved as much as possible. If I got the Z06 from 02 that's 405Hp and 3.90 rear gear right?

Oh, and yeah it is pretty bad that a mustang forum can give me better and quicker answers on a LS1 engine than LS1Tech can. There is still no answer with over 20 views. Go figure.

I hear ya. NO2 is a quick and cost effective solution. I normally would go that way, and you never know may get bit by that bug, but I would really rather beating somebody all the time and not have to say, wait let me go fill my bottle (I'm forgetful), ya know? In the end I may still go that way.
