I think it was one of my buddies but im not sure. late last night i was coming home, and this GT just like mine cuts in front of me on the off ramp. he wants some. he had 17" silver cobras with some nice tires...so he got in front of me around the turn. i dont get my cobras till wednesday. well i was doing damn near 50 as we came off, not realizing this i dropped it into second, and hit my rev limiter, then missed 3rd. im thinking damn this stock GT is gonna think he got me. so i hit 3rd and started catching up, and i love this, when i shift the racing tranny, tri ax and 3:73's seem to work together to give a quick shift, and my car always lurches forward nice and hard. so when i hit 4th it gave me that oomph i needed to quicky catch and pass...he hit his brakesas i passed him,i really want to add just a litle 50 shot. i'da smoked him in 3rd. but its nice to see i can still handle astock GT, even if i i get too excited and mess up 2nd to 3rd really bad.i missed that shift twice this weekend. but then again i got a bad flex plate too. oh well, still new at it, only had the stang for a month. gotta keeppracticing.
